These bear shaped pancakes sound sweet and cute, but this result looks like a very scary meme, or a pancake spirit asking for help in the middle of the pan.
A hedgehog cake itself sounds like a very bizarre idea for a birthday party but we are not here to judge that, we are here to judge this result. What's up with those teeth?
Ok, so maybe (just maybe) we are not looking ath this DIY result fairly: maybe it wasn't this person's idea to reproduce the bones, but to give it a fll body. In that case, it's a winner.
Cookie real monsters
Can you tell me how to get to Sesame…? Nevermind, if this is how the cookie monster looks I'm already having nightmares on these version of Big Bird. No idea why they look like blue frogs.
Don't catch them all please
I'm not sure why the eyes on this cake Pikachu look human and sad, yet a little spooky. It's not even the same yellow but let's give it some points for the ears at least, that's hard to make.
Devil eggs that look like tiny chicken babies? Or white helmuted zombies? Not sure what went wrong on this DIY Pinterest fail but something for sure did: I would't even eat that, would you?
Spread the love
Awww that lipstick kissed baby seems so cute, I'm sure when he grows up mine would love to have a portraited memory of him as a baby literally covered by our love and kisses…ok, no, nevermind.
This one actually makes me so sad because you can tell that they were going in the right direction with this octopuss pie: they made every part carefully and then apparently threw it on the ground a few times before baking it.
A shark cake seems like a very cool idea for a kid's birthday party…unless it looks like this one. Not sure what the sand idea was about or what happened with his teeth, or why is is shaped like a whale but nice try.
Rolling in the sheep
These sheep shaped cake pops look as cute as real baby sheep, but yet again: they have a rather normal head size. Whe applaude the try of this person, but highly recommend to take a good look at proportions next time.
To infinity and beyond
Poor Buzz Lightyear, poor Andy, poor Mr. And Mrs. Potatohead: any Toy Story fan would be offended by these Picasso looking Toy Story cake. Hope this kid's birthday at least had better presents.
Nothing talks abut childhood like rubber ducks: the thought of a bath time filled with happiness and games seems perfect for a cupcake idea…unless the bathtub water is hot enough to melt them and make them look like these.
Who doesn't love minions? This guy who made the cake apparently: it makes the minion look as if it have gone out to outer space and melted for standing too close to the sun. Have some minion respect, please.
Cakes that have patterned and coloful insides are a great suprise after blowing the candles: nobody thinks of the colors and perfect design that they are about tho see. This is not the case, of course, but the thought was nice.
Baby album pictures can be a great way to send out an invite card, to portrait forever the innocence of a baby in a fun and original way…not if they are crying. There's no pumpkin cool enough to distract people from the unhappines of this child.
Cute, funny and apparently simple: these beaver themed cupcakes look both fun and delicious. The result of this DIY is nothing like that: it looks as the beaver is about to eat you and not the other way around.
Pinterest is filled with nail art ideas that seem doable and that can give you a unique style without spending a lot of money n them and going to an expensive salon: well think again. And don't do this to your hands, please.
Rainbow pancake tower
A rainbow pancake tower looks rather easy and so pretty in the dish that we all want to try this one at home. Somehow who tried this made some of I look like a human lung over some eggs and colored toast. With about three pounds of butter on top.
Cookie bowls filled with ice cream seem like a genious idea to surprise your dinner guests when it's time for dessert. Something went terribly wron on this one and the result is a giant broken one. Still eatable, we guess.
We know that DIY recipes seem easier than they are in rea life but come on…Seriously? This was your biggest effort in trying to imitate the picture? What happened to this poor watermelon? What did it do to you?
Glow in the dark jar
What a beautiflu idea it is to create some home made glow in the dark jars that look as if fairies were surrounding your room? Well, stil works in this case if you use your imagination. It's so wrong that we can't even see how wrong it went.
Pretzels are delicious and perfect for a plate during a game or a movie. Unfortunately in this case it may be easier to go to your closest pretzle cart and just buy everything they have, and stay away from the kitchen as long as you can.
These strawberries and cream that look like tiny Santas are a cute idea for a christmas table, but these didn't quite match those expectations: instead they look like sushi pieces that we wouldn't dare to eat anyway.
I know that the original picture seems like a cute idea for a family portrait but the result is nothing like it: it would be much better if they all just stand in the beach and gave a great smile. Really, so much better.
If you loved the failed strawberry santas, you need to see these melted raindeer. Once they melted in the oven, these guy actually kept on trying by adding the rest to it. That's a lesson on not giving up, kids.
No sew pillow covers are a great idea when you are not very crafty but still want to change your home a little with your own hands. This is pretty much folding and tying: how could it go wrong? It seemed so easy!
Mickey would be so mad
Pancake art: an infinite story of failures. This mouse shaped pancake seemed rather easy but…no, ddn't happen. It doesn't even remotely look like any type of animal we've ever seen. It's scary.
A tree made of cake pops looks incredibly fancy and easy to make for a dinner party: just stick some of the made cake pops in a cone shaped structure. And don't give up in the middle of making it like this guy did.
These tiny pumpkins made of rice look great and fun for a Halloween party, unless you want to keep up that holiday spirit and make them scary. If that was the plan, this person actually nailed this DIY.
Heart shaped cookies
Have you ever heard about this recipe trick? You put some hard candy on the cookies before they go to the oven and once the candy melts it will look like glass. Well, something went wrong here and that of course, didn't happen.
Pancakes with no mess
Don't you just love those hacks to simplify your life and make everything easier? Putting pancake batter inside an old and washed ketchup bottle is great for no mess, unless you make the actual mess when filling it.
Another example that nothing good comes when people try to do themselves cake pop recipes they see on social media. In this case, the victim was a chicken that was supposed to be adorable and instead is just a…what is that?
You had it coming
Cookies filled with smores: a fattening idea we would all love to try. Didn't seem so hard to do, and it was supossed to come out of the oven like an exquisite cube but somehow it made a mess.
Make your own croissants at home and feel Parisian, they said. It will be fun, they said. But instead they ended up with a baked boomerang, we say. We would stull try it, at least they didn't burn it or anything.
Yogurt covered berries
Yummy: berries covered in yogurt seem like a delicious and pretty easy to make snack. Well, let's all think again: the result is a big ball of berries, yogurts and disaster. Where did it all go wrong, berries?
Candy box cake
We all love candy, and try to turn a box of your favourite kind into a cake seems like a great idea. Sorry, seemed. The person who made this would be much happier just buying a couple of boxes for their guests and call it a night.
Art is art
Melted crayon art always looks colorful, fun, and exciting…well, at least on the Pinterest board. The good thing is that art is art and is subjective, so someone can think of this creation as disruptive and cool.
Art ballons only take thread, glue, ballons, patience and…well, apparently a minimum of skills so it doesn't end up looking like ramen or a nest of birds that flew away from it.
The expectation: a doble covered chocolate fresh strawberry that will make a perfect sweet treat. In reality, or at least this person's reality, it doesn't look like a treat that we wouldn't only offer to a dog. A dog that misbehaved.
That cupcake caterpillar looks so happy and friendly! Let's make one at home, all we need are cupcakes, right? No special skill? Just throwing them on a platter? No? Doesn't it look like that? Not at all?
Colorful ice cubes, what a great way of making a regular drink seem more appealing and fun…unless they melt horribly and they end up making your drink look like pond water.
This is kind of upsetting: how little can you try to make a round think not look ound? It was easier and probable would look better just to hang a dozen socks on the door and have some style of its own.
Dr. WHO DID THIS?
Don't be so greedy: if you are doing a cake art think for the first time in your life you can try to do something much simpler than this. What is this supossed to be? A blue box with a yellow bow on top of it?
Perfect eggs, not so perfect
Breakfast is known to be the most important meal of the day, and it's always nice to make your eggs look fancy and make you want to eat them. Not the case of course, give up, scramble them, give them some dignity.
This could have been a hit: it was jus square cupcakes and with color toppoing put together to make it seem like Minecraft. Apparently it is a lot harded than we think and the result is closer to Space invaders than Minecraft.
Let them cool

Is that a Solar System?
Really, thread balloons seem so easy, which type of balloon did this person use to make this look like a bad project for a solar system. And also, once you are done you are supossed to take the old balloon out, don't leave it hanging there!
Heart caramel covered marshmallow pops: seem pretty, classy and actually this person almost nailed it, but unexplicably melted one before its time and messed it all up. So close, though.
Tinkerbell gone bad
Tnikerbell is one of Disney's most beloved characters, and this admiration goes from generation to generation. We are not sure why someone thought it was a good idea to make pancake art out of her, but it was clearly a terrible idea.
